One mistake should not tarnish your future.

Pretrial Diversion (PTD) is an alternative to prosecution that offers a first time offender the chance to avoid a criminal conviction and other punitive sanctions, including fines, probation, and jail time. Those who successfully complete this program will be eligible for an immediate expunction. An expunction clears the case from the person’s criminal history and legally entitles him or her to deny the occurrence of the arrest.

To be eligible for Pretrial Diversion in Collin County, applicants must have no prior adult criminal history and be represented by and attorney. Some cases are ineligible for PTD, such as DWI, Assault, violent offenses, sexual offenses, and offenses including a weapon.

These are the minimum criteria for admissibility into the program. Acceptance into the program is decided on a case-by-case basis. Fallon will discuss your specific case with you and guide you through the application process in order to give you the best chance for admission into the program.
